Type the displayed passage in order. Backspace corrects the last character. Paste is disabled. Escape pauses. Control or Command plus Enter restarts. Leaving the input pauses the timer.
How to practise 24-hour time
Read the hour and minute as two short groups. A value such as 08:05 needs two zeros in different positions. These fictional timetable entries use 24-hour notation, so do not add AM or PM. Seconds appear in the final sample and need a second colon.
What to check after a run
Check hour substitutions independently from minute substitutions. Copying 14:50 as 14:05 is a transcription mistake even though both strings look like plausible times.

1. Find the pattern
00:05 06:40 08:09 12:00 13:25 17:08 20:45 23:59 09:30 16:06
2. Connect the movement
Open the sample log at 07:05. Check the queue at 11:40. Save the note at 14:09 and close the record at 18:35.
3. Apply it in context
The fictional event log records 08:04:12 for the first sample, 08:14:02 for the second and 16:50:30 for the final check. Copy the seconds as carefully as the hour. None of these entries controls a real schedule or timer.
