The door is open. The light is on. A cup is on the table. We are ready to begin. Take a breath. Read the next line. Find a steady pace.
Type the displayed passage in order. Backspace corrects the last character. Paste is disabled. Escape pauses. Control or Command plus Enter restarts. Leaving the input pauses the timer.
How to practise full stops and sentence endings
Notice the last word and the first word of the next sentence as a pair. Type the full stop before the space, then prepare the next capital. The targets use one space between sentences. Repeated spaces are normalised by the tool, so use the visible target rather than trying to reproduce a document layout.
What to check after a run
Watch for a full stop entered twice, a missed capital after it, or a letter typed before the separator. Repeat a short sentence pair when the transition causes more mistakes than the words themselves.

1. Find the pattern
The door is open. The light is on. A cup is on the table. We are ready to begin. Take a breath. Read the next line. Find a steady pace.
2. Connect the movement
Leah finished the note. She placed it beside the phone. The next shift would arrive soon. She checked the window and switched off the desk lamp. Everything was ready.
3. Apply it in context
The parcel arrived in the afternoon. Owen compared the label with his note. The street name was correct. One number was difficult to read. He checked the original order before signing for it. A careful check prevented a simple mistake.
