How to practise product descriptions

Read beyond the item name before typing its details. Similar products may differ by one dimension or material, so familiar words should not replace the source. These are original invented catalogue samples with no real prices, endorsements or purchase links.

What to check after a run

Review the measurements and what is included. Watch for a plural ending that changes one item into several.

1. Find the pattern

A small paper organiser with three open sections and a flat base. The sample is grey, measures 18 x 12 cm and includes two blank divider cards.

2. Connect the movement

This fictional desk tray holds loose practice sheets. Its shallow front makes the labels visible, while the raised back keeps the example cards together. The description refers to a single tray, not a set.

3. Apply it in context

The sample notebook has a plain blue cover, 48 unnumbered pages and a stitched spine. A removable paper band carries the draft title. No pen or storage sleeve is included. Copy the specific features without adding advertising claims or replacing the dimensions with a guess.
