Complete: draft outline. In progress: example pages. Waiting: cover review. Next: compare the printed samples. Blocker: one caption has no reference.
Type the displayed passage in order. Backspace corrects the last character. Paste is disabled. Escape pauses. Control or Command plus Enter restarts. Leaving the input pauses the timer.
How to practise project status updates
Notice the difference between ready for review and approved. Project language can sound repetitive, which makes it easy to replace a precise status with a familiar one. All examples concern a fictional paper prototype. The figures are invented exercise data, not claims about a real project.
What to check after a run
Compare the status labels first, then their details. Do not omit the blocker just because the rest of an update sounds positive.

1. Find the pattern
Complete: draft outline. In progress: example pages. Waiting: cover review. Next: compare the printed samples. Blocker: one caption has no reference.
2. Connect the movement
The training board shows 60% of sample cards prepared. The index is ready for review, but the cover is not approved. The next check is scheduled for the afternoon session.
3. Apply it in context
Status update: the leaflet text is complete and the map labels are being checked. Printing is paused until the final page size is confirmed. The team can continue testing the folded paper example while that question remains open. Copy the distinction between completed work and work awaiting a decision.
