Type the displayed passage in order. Backspace corrects the last character. Paste is disabled. Escape pauses. Control or Command plus Enter restarts. Leaving the input pauses the timer.
How to practise table row transcription
Each sample uses a vertical bar to separate fields on one line. Read the row as a sequence of columns: identifier, quantity, value. Whitespace is normalised by the typing exercise, so this lesson tests the content and delimiters rather than tab alignment or spreadsheet navigation.
What to check after a run
After an error, locate the column before checking individual characters. A value copied into the wrong column can look numerically correct while breaking the row structure.

1. Find the pattern
A12 | 4 | 2.50 B08 | 16 | 0.75 C31 | 0 | 12.00 D04 | 9 | 4.25
2. Connect the movement
Item | Count | Size. FOLDER-A | 24 | 0.50. TRAY-B | 8 | 2.75. LABEL-C | 120 | 0.05.
3. Apply it in context
Copy the fictional rows in order: KIT-014 | 6 | 14.25; KIT-041 | 9 | 12.45; KIT-104 | 0 | 41.20. Preserve each separator. This is a plain-text transcription drill, not a live spreadsheet or database import.
