Action item lists typing practice
Keep a task, an owner and a due point together when copying fictional action lists. Avoid carrying a status into the wrong item.

Task: print the sample. Owner: Alex. Due: Tuesday. Status: open. Task: check the index. Owner: Morgan. Due: Friday. Status: waiting.
Type the displayed passage in order. Backspace corrects the last character. Paste is disabled. Escape pauses. Control or Command plus Enter restarts. Leaving the input pauses the timer.
How to practise action item lists
Use each label as an anchor: task, owner, due and status. This plain-text drill does not create reminders or track real deadlines. Read the next item before typing it because many action lists repeat the same structure while changing the details that matter.
What to check after a run
Review the owner and status independently. A beautifully copied sentence assigned to the wrong person is still an inaccurate record.

1. Find the pattern
Task: print the sample. Owner: Alex. Due: Tuesday. Status: open. Task: check the index. Owner: Morgan. Due: Friday. Status: waiting.
2. Connect the movement
Rowan - compare the two covers - before the review. Ellis - collect the draft cards - after the workshop. Jamie - label the storage tray - next session.
3. Apply it in context
Action 01: revise the visitor note; owner Morgan; status in progress. Action 02: check the example route; owner Alex; status not started. Action 03: file the earlier draft; owner Ellis; status complete. Copy each status as supplied rather than guessing from the task.
