Desk checked at 16:20. Visitor leaflets are in tray B. The spare map is still awaiting a label. No new display cards were added.
Type the displayed passage in order. Backspace corrects the last character. Paste is disabled. Escape pauses. Control or Command plus Enter restarts. Leaving the input pauses the timer.
How to practise shift handover notes
Read the status word before the detail. Handover notes can include locations, quantities and unresolved questions in a small space. The samples describe an invented visitor desk and contain no safety-critical instructions. Copy the source accurately rather than inferring what the next shift should do.
What to check after a run
Check every negative and pending item. Missing not or still can reverse the meaning of a short handover sentence.

1. Find the pattern
Desk checked at 16:20. Visitor leaflets are in tray B. The spare map is still awaiting a label. No new display cards were added.
2. Connect the movement
Handover: the morning sample is filed in box 12. The afternoon sample remains on the review table. Please keep both versions until the draft number is confirmed.
3. Apply it in context
The fictional gallery desk has 24 blank feedback cards and 8 sample maps. The blue folder contains completed checks; the grey folder contains open questions. The next person should read the note about the missing caption before sorting the cards. This is a copying scenario, not an operational instruction.
