How to practise website microcopy
Treat every label as a complete target, even when it is only two words long. The examples describe fictional controls; typing their names does not activate them. Preserve sentence case, apostrophes and punctuation. Do not replace supplied wording with a familiar button label from another website.
What to check after a run
Check negatives and action verbs first. A short label gives little context to reveal a missed character or extra word.

Preview the exact targets before choosing a run. Counts include spaces and punctuation after whitespace normalisation.
1. Find the pattern
Save draft. Preview example. Clear search. No cards found. Try a shorter phrase. Your sample is ready. Back to the library.
2. Connect the movement
Can't find a match? Clear one filter and try again. This preview is read-only. Choose a sample to continue. Nothing has been uploaded. Your selection stays on this device.
3. Apply it in context
The fictional interface says: Review your draft before sharing it. A second message says: This example has no saved version yet. The final button reads: Keep editing. Copy these words as text; the exercise does not save, share or change anything in another application.
