How to practise percentages
The percent key can require a modifier depending on your layout. Find it before the first run, then release the modifier before the next digit. These samples place the symbol immediately after the number. Follow that exact style during the drill; it is a copying exercise rather than financial or statistical advice.
What to check after a run
Look for three different errors: a missing symbol, an incorrect decimal place and an accidental space. Accuracy here is based on characters, not whether an alternative numeric expression is equivalent.

1. Find the pattern
5% 12% 0.5% 80% 2.25% 100% 7.0% 45% 16.75% 9% 0.05%
2. Connect the movement
The practice dashboard shows 24% complete, 6.5% waiting and 0.75% under review. Copy 40% and 4.0% into different sample fields.
3. Apply it in context
A fictional survey card lists 32.5% for option A and 67.5% for option B. The next card lists 33.25% and 66.75%. Preserve the digits and the symbols; these invented examples are for keyboard practice and do not describe a real survey.
