Type the displayed passage in order. Backspace corrects the last character. Paste is disabled. Escape pauses. Control or Command plus Enter restarts. Leaving the input pauses the timer.
How to practise url typing
Read each component separately: scheme, host, path and any query or fragment. The examples use example.com, example.org and example.net for documentation, not live destinations you need to visit. The typing surface does not navigate to them. Preserve case in paths and the order of query parameters exactly.
What to check after a run
Check both slashes after the colon, then review question marks, ampersands and the fragment marker. Similar-looking URLs can differ by one character.

1. Find the pattern

2. Connect the movement

3. Apply it in context
Copy https://example.com/library/card-014?mode=preview#notes before https://example.com/library/card-041?mode=print#title. These reserved-domain examples practise address punctuation without collecting browsing data or sending a request to either target.
